Stayed at the Hoa Binh Hotel for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Also met Mrs Phuong of Oriental Bridge Travel and spent time on a private junk on Haulong Bay. A perfect combination. Thoroughly recommend both the Hotel and Oriental Bridge. Will be back next year..

January 9, 2012 (worldtraveller3465) - Comments on Maison Ly

We just returned from 4 great nights at Maison Ly in Hanoi, Dec.9-12.We really liked it and would go back. It is owned by Oriental Bridge travel, and their website description and photos represent it accurately.. It is a beautiful old wooden house with a modern bedroom and bathroom attached to it, set in the tranquility of a garden in Hanoi's suburbs. It comes with TV(HBO etc.), stereo for Ipod and they lend their computer should you need it. The owners, who speak English and French, live next door and bring the most wonderful breakfast of homemade apple crepes, yogurt, fresh fruit and real coffee. You can cook in the kitchen or have them cook for you. The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet except for the odd rooster. No constant blaring of motorcycle horns here. You can eat at Vietnamese sidewalk cafe in the neighborhood or take the 15 minute taxi ride into downtown Hanoi ($ 6.00) for a restaurant dining experience. it's possible to go for walks in the countryside by crossing the nearby river on a foot ferry which will place you among farmer's fields. Oriental Bridge travel can help you with all kinds of advice and tours.

January 9, 2012 (worldtraveller3465) ) - Comments on Hotel Chez Loan in Tam Coc

We stayed at Chez Loan as part of a 4 night tour to Tam Coc and Mai Chau organized by Oriental Bridge Travel. Like all the hotels we stayed at with Oriental Bridge, we were given their best room, which was clean and had a great view of the valley. We luckily speak French, as nobody speaks English here, though they do have menus in English. We had excellent food at the hotel.

January 9, 2012 (worldtraveller3465) ) - Comments on the Chim Sao restaurant in Hanoi

We dined here our first night in Hanoi….We liked Chim Sao so much, we returned another night to dine. Both meals were delicious.... Oriental Bridge Travel, who arranged a wonderful 3 week trip through Vietnam for us, is connected to Chim Sao by family ties. You can trust both the restaurant and the travel company to treat you with friendly hospitality and good service.

January 9, 2012 (worldtraveller3465) ) - Comments on the Mekong Lodge

We stayed here as part of a 7 day tour of South Vietnam organized by Oriental Bridge travel. You reach this hotel only by boat, so you already get the feeling of life in the delta upon arrival…. Our excellent English speaking guide, Mr. Khang, from Oriental Bridge helped to make these excursions even more enjoyable.
